In a recent report, Hospodářské noviny (Economic News) profiled a groundbreaking project in Czech zero-emission transport, one in which our company, APT, plays a pivotal role. The Czech Republic’s first-ever public refueling station utilizing exclusively green hydrogen is currently under construction in Napajedla, in the Zlín region. We are involved in the project as a key technology partner.

As reported by the daily HN, the investor behind this ambitious project is the Solar Global energy group, led by Vítězslav Skopal. Our company, APT, is joining the project, bringing essential know-how in technology and project engineering for hydrogen infrastructure.
A milestone for the Czech energy sector and for APT
For APT, the implementation of the filling plant in Napajedla represents a significant milestone for two reasons:
- This is our first filling station designed exclusively for green hydrogen, which is produced using an electrolyzer powered by renewable sources.
- Zároveň jde o dosud největší projekt tohoto druhu, na kterém se technologicky podílíme. Jedná se o naši první plnicí stanici určenou výhradně pro zelený vodík, který se vyrábí pomocí elektrolyzéru napájeného z obnovitelných zdrojů.

100% zero-emission operation starting this autumn
The filling station will enter commercial operation as early as November of this year. It will serve not only passenger cars but is also expected to become a key hub—particularly for hydrogen buses—as the investor is currently negotiating their deployment in public transport.
Green hydrogen for the station will be supplied by a 230-kilowatt electrolyzer (capable of producing up to 82 kg of hydrogen per day) powered by an adjacent 611 kWp solar power plant. We believe that Napajedla is just the beginning. Hospodářské noviny (Economic News) also mentions other locations planned by the investor for similar projects, such as near Kolín or in the Chrudim region. APT is ready to play its part and continue supplying cutting-edge technologies for the green future of Czech mobility.
